Lately, I've been completely captivated by the unpredictable nature of my characters.

This week, I've been deep inside Bound by Blood, and Lily and James have been keeping me on my toes.

They're both carrying secrets. They're both convinced they're protecting the other. And the more they fight what's growing between them, the more dangerous everything becomes.

It's one of those stages of writing where I sit down intending to write one chapter... and somehow end up following my characters somewhere I never planned to go.

That's when I know the story is starting to come alive.

Without giving away any spoilers, let's just say James is making it incredibly difficult not to fall for him... even when he probably deserves a slap.
