“Bound By Shadows” pulled me in from the very first page. Jilly Harrison’s attention to detail around the characters’ emotional development is exceptional, you don’t just read about their journeys, you feel them. I loved that this story wasn’t all fluff and light and that it explored the shadows too, giving it real depth and authenticity. The emotional layers, the challenges, and the moments of vulnerability made the connection between the characters feel raw and believable. A beautiful balance of heart, tension, and truth.
I believe there’s more to come in this series, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. This is the first book in a long time that’s made me want to keep turning the pages until the early hours , I sat up reading for two nights straight and now I’m genuinely sad it’s finished. Here’s hoping the next one comes quickly!

This book has me hooked from page one. I couldn’t put it down. I loved how Rayna dealt with her grief and learned how to love again. This is a sexy but really heartwarming read. Loved the characters, especially Jay, it made me laugh out loud on a few occasions.
